In what was supposed to be a visit Mexico ad and what may be construed as the latest attempt at point the finger, the Mexican Government ran an ad in The Arizona Republic. You can see the ad at left. First off, who wears woodland green camouflage in the desert? No wonder the Mexican Government is so bad at stopping the drug lords and their minions: The Mexican army can be seen miles away in plain sight. Secondly, anyone with a third grade education or better would know that the illegal immigration is pretty much in one direction. If someone gets a jonesing for a margarita and cerviche and wants to go to Cancún, Acapulco, or Puerto Vallarta, they will fly United Airlines or some other airline to get there. Furthermore, the drug trade generally flows in our direction as does the traffic of humans escaping the hopeless and feckless life of living south of the border.

At the very least, this is just an asinine attempt to poke fun at Arizona and SB1070, and at most a veiled threat to Americans traveling south of the border. Either way it’s ridiculous, but it has Sheriff Joe’s bowels in an uproar. Lets hope he keeps away from the refried beans for the next couple days. And Joe, take a break, please.

The bottom line this shows how feckless the Mexican Government is in not only creating an ad that makes any sense, but in taking care of their own problems, which usually is to do nothing. From the land where La Hermandad is an acceptable part of their government. Need I say more? Calderón, usted se ha demostrado ser un cabrón, un nabo y posiblemente un pajero. Capisce? Stonato.

I wish the Mexican government luck in their pursuit of getting more Americans to visit and catching American illegal aliens, but if they wish to solve the problem, the first thing they need to do is wear desert camo, the second is turn around and face the other way, that way they will see the future aliens heading their way. Either that, or offer a free margarita or two with some ceviche when Americans get to town. It can’t hurt.

With socialism, marxism, and collectivism, need always trump ability. If you do not believe me, look at the standard marxist statement: To eat according to their needs, from each according to their ability. This means that what is given from the government, which acts as a proxy by force, to those that can’t or won’t do. It also means, that by force, this proxy for bad ideas takes what is earned by those who not only can but want to. It’s not a free will gift and it is taken without respect to the people that earned it, but rather as an unwanted obligation and a demand that they should be happy to do it.

The New Jersey legislature passed a tax hike on all those who make more than a million dollars a year. This adds up to 16,000 people out of 3.9 million. Who speaks for them? Obviously to the socialist controlled New Jersey legislature, no one should.

The bill passed along party lines, 46-32 and 23-17 in the assembly and senate respectively. In a moment of honesty, a socialist in the assembly shows their true colors:

“We’ve got a lot of people who can’t afford to pay their taxes” and need the rebates that the measure may restore, Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver said before the vote. “Six- hundred thousand older adults would be better off.”

There are a couple problems here. If people can’t afford to pay their taxes, ask why? Why are they being taxed so high? If the answer is to pilfer those that have more money, it’s irresponsible and thievery. Socialism is based on coveting and stealing. It never occurs to the dems to cut expenditures because they are bribing people with their own money. The 600,000 that are complaining of cuts to senior citizen programs are a sizable voting block where 16,000 are not. How is that for taxation without representation? Oliver should read her history to understand the consequences of such aberrant thinking.

Why Chris Christie matters is that he says he will veto this bill. The demo-socialists do not have the votes to override the veto. A good thing. Time for some fiscal responsibility and honesty.

“This is a defining moment — it seems to me to be all about taxes, taxes and taxes,” Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce, a Republican from Parsippany, said during more than an hour of floor debate before the vote. Referring to Democrats, he said, “that’s all you guys do.”

And that is the truth. Socialists like to bribe people with their own money, and they do it as a bribe for votes. This is done to convert those that can to those that need. The more that need, the more votes the arbiters of socialism will get and thereby hold on to power. This is the path to becoming Farm Animals®. If you doubt me, look at another bit of honesty from a socialist that feels sacrifice is duty and who is also the high priest at the altar of sacrifice:

“I don’t have an issue with millionaires, I just have an issue with people not sharing in the sacrifice,” said Senate President Stephen Sweeney, a Democrat from West Deptford. “Those 16,000 people can help 600,000.”
What Sweeney isn’t honest about is that the taxes he wants to steal from the 16,000 is to restore programs to bribe the 600,000. Sfacime.

It is a good thing to see a governor stand on proper rational principle and not emotion based straw man arguments and populism. He was elected to govern and govern from a position of responsibility, not of a tyrant that succors the hoi pelloi into a puerile stupor for the purpose of political hegemony. Its time to grow up.

This is why we need Chris Christie.

In what is a prime example of hubris, Charlie Crist, the governor or Florida turned GOP candidate for senator has changed party affiliation to independent due to the ass kicking he is taking from Marco Rubio.

Some may say this is a Specter or a Lieberman, but in those cases, they were ahead in the polls. Crist is not.

Here first: Charlie Crist, soon to be independent Senate candidate from Florida, tried to reach White House chief of staff Emanuel through intermediates. WH refuses to take the call. Dems plan big talent/money blitz for Kendrick Meek. BTW: Obama’s approval rating in FL is in high 40s, per internal Dem polling.

Reaches out to the Rahminator? WTF? If you have to ask, it’s all about Charlie. Hubris is god like pride. His actions show both hubris and his being a traitor. He can’t go back on this. And while the darling of socially moderate republicans, his appeal will not translate into many democrat votes. As said above, Rahm and Co. are going for the big push for the democratic candidate, most likely in the hopes that Crist syphons enough votes from the Rubio camp to put Meek in office. What a sfacime. This guy joins the ranks of Specter, Stupak and Leach as strunza sfacimes.

From the department of ecumenical insanity, The most reverend Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, said the Irish Church  has lost all its credibility. That’s the teapot calling the kettle black if I have seen it.

I used to be a congregant of Rowan’s Church until he jumped the sharp by affirming the appointment of a philandering alcoholic as a bishop in the US, saying that Sharia law is equivalent to british law and has a place in society, and he has bishops under him that are ok with late term abortions. He admitted as much  that islam will overtake any christian church in England. Talk about poor leadership and talking your own down.

So here we are, Rowan saying the Irish Church lost its credibility. Really? You lost yours a long time ago Rowan, and lets be honest: You are swinging brickbats at the catholic church as a whole. Many parishes in the US have already left the Anglican Church to go under another Episcopal authority, and The Pope has made it very easy for Anglicans to become catholics now, as a way to bring them back to the fold. Rowan is pissed his ship is sinking and is just striking out. Honestly Rowan, if you showed real leadership, may be you wouldn’t be a laughing stock. May be I’d still be Anglican Catholic.

In what normally would be a quiet primary season in red Congressional districts across the country, a few Republican candidates find themselves under a microscope when they expected to coast to an easy primary win. While some claim it’s a violation of Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment, tea party conservatives sin, throwing out the 11th commandment, to ensure the most Constitutional solid candidate gets the party nomination.

This is apparent in Missouri’s Seventh Congressional District. A few weeks ago, it looked like republican candidate Billy Long would coast through the primaries. Long had a significant lead in fund raising as well as having the most recognized name in the race. However, a chance meeting last fall led to one tea party member waging a campaign against the leading Republican candidate in the race.

Clay Bowler, the blogger at Bungalow Bill’s Conservative Wisdom watched candidate Long approach closer to his place in line prior to Claire McCaskill’s town hall meeting in Springfield, Missouri. A small-business man went up to Long and asked him why he couldn’t get a small business loan after the banks got the TARP money to free up the credit markets. He wanted to know what Long was going to do to make sure he was going to get a loan for his small business.

Long began to pander to the man, explaining what he would do. When he was done, Bowler asked him what in the Constitution gave him the authority to tell this man that he would help him. Long answered there was nothing. Bowler fired back, so why are you telling this man this. Candidate Long walked off.

After the meeting, Bowler began to realize that candidate Long had a long record in the local media of contradicting the platform put on his page, so he decided to challenge Long using the power of the Internet. He started the Billy Long is Wrong Web site. The site looks at the candidate under an intensified scope and examines the concerns he has of the candidate. Since the site was introduced, momentum has shifted to the more conservative Constitutionalist candidates.

This is the reality of the tea party movement, which is tired of more of the same from candidates that claim they are conservative republicans. Many tea party activists are asking what they can do to raise awareness for candidates that care about the Constitution and the limits of government, and more are turning to the Web to combat moderate candidates who don’t want to live within the limits of the Constitution. You can’t claim you are against the bailouts and then tell constituents that you will help them get their fair share. You can’t claim you are against the stimulus and then look to see how many millions and billions you can bring to your district.

Left Coast Rebel is another tea party blog that is working to promote Constitutional conservatives while weeding out RINO candidates. LCR is examining districts around the United States putting up red flags for Republican candidates that are running with a big ‘R’ platform.

LCR has been vocal in expressing support for little ‘r’ republicans that want to enforce the limits of the federal government. Normally, he wouldn’t get involved in other districts, but he has determined too much is on the line this election not to be more active in the election.
So conservatives and Republicans are breaking Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment. It’s not too hard to imagine that if Reagan was here today, he would probably be speaking up against what has taken place in the Republican party these days.
